About

I’m Amy.

I live in South Queensferry, just 20 minutes outside of Edinburgh. The town is most famous for the big red bridge – Forth Rail Bridge.

I am 23 years old.

I recently graduated from Edinburgh Napier University, where I studied Festivals and Events Management with Hospitality.

I really enjoy travelling and am always looking for an excuse to try and see somewhere new, something new in a place I’ve been before, or something just a little different from daily life.

Recently this has been short 3 day trips to places in the UK. But I have also travelled around Europe, several places in the USA and went on safari in Kenya.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So through off the bowlines,  sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. Mark Twain.

I also love baking and cooking. From tray bakes to wedding cakes and everything in between. Just hand me a recipe book and I will see what I can whip up.

I enjoy reading other peoples travel and cookery blogs, so I thought, why not start my own?!

You will come to see I like a little ramble, I get fairly over excited about the tiniest things and I am happy to help people with silly and sensible questions.

Happy reading!
